Dog Mountain

Dog Mountain is a new dog park that was once a 150-acre farm located in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Dog Mountain is nestled among the rolling hills of Northeast Vermont.

Dog owners appreciate hiking trails, agility courses, and ponds where they can take a quick dip when it’s warm. It is, however, the unique Dog Chapel in the center that memorializes pets who are no longer with us.

It’s possible to visit Dog Mountain all year round, but at the time of year when the forest surrounding it turns golden-red, it’s exceptionally beautiful.

There are several events that are held at the park every year, including a Golden Jubilee for Golden Retrievers as well as their friends as well as a Celebration Party for the park’s founders. In the summer and autumn, there are also Dog Parties at the park.

It can be found at 143 Parks Road in St Johnsbury, Vermont. The park is open every Friday from 11 a.m. up until 4 p.m. and every weekend from 10 a.m. in the morning through 5 p.m. in the afternoon. Admission to the park is free, but you can make a donation if you wish to help maintain it. More about Dog Mountain.

Pilgrim Bark Park

A legend states that two of the dogs aboard the Mayflower, when it landed in Provincetown in 1620, were an English Mastiff and a Springer Spaniel. There was a plan to create a park dedicated to these brave and salty sea dogs, known as Pilgrim Bark Park.

In addition to being home to a dog park, the area is also home to an outdoor gallery adorned with sculptures created by artists in the area. There are some with practical applications, for example, the benches in the shape of dogs and fire hydrants that are painted in vivid colors.

There are some other styles, such as anchors made out of rope and sleeping dogs made of rope, that are historically and nautically inspired.

There is an exquisite metal sculpture that depicts a Wampanoag tribesman casting a fishing net while he is also using the net to shade himself from the hot sun. In the dog park, there are separate areas for small and large dogs, along with sand play areas and lawns where dogs can run.

Located at 227 US-6 in Provincetown, MA, Pilgrim Bark Park welcomes dogs from dawn until dusk. Admission to the park is free, and dogs are welcome from sunrise until sunset. Check the site here.

Elm Creek Reserve Dog Park

The 29-acre fenced off-leash park offers trails that wind through woodlands, fields, and meadows northwest of Minneapolis. In the winter, visitors can try dog-sledding and skijoring, both of which have dogs pulling humans on skis over the weight of 30 pounds.

Visitors can also enjoy long walks during the spring and summer months. It is also possible to explore the area without the need for a leash. Depending on the season, it may seem like an entirely different park. More about Elm Creek here.

Willow Creek Dog Park

There wasn’t always such an awesome dog park at Willow Creek. Before 2014, this perennially popular spot was starting to look a little shabby. Previous to 2014, it was a great place for dogs to run and make friends.

Then, through the generous injection of money from Beneful, Linda Nichols was offered the chance to transform the park into a firefighter-themed playground for puppies, thanks to Linda’s winning idea “Sirens and Hydrants.”

In addition, you can find antimicrobial and nontoxic K9 grass here, so you can visit the park all year round and keep Fido clean.

Dog lovers can enjoy Willow Creek Dog Park at 3181 Willow Creek Road in Prescott, Arizona. Open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. for free. Go here for more info.

Rosie’s Dog Beach

It is no secret that Los Angeles has some of the finest beaches in the world. In contrast, if you were looking forward to taking a stroll along the beaches and playing with your dog in the surf, those activities will be difficult to find in Malibu, Venice, or Santa Monica (at least not legally).

There are plenty of other ways to find Rosie’s Dog Beach, although you’ll have to spend some time on the 405 (or a lot of it, depending on traffic) to locate it. There are very few places where dogs are allowed to run free on the beach in Los Angeles County, and this is one of them.

It is easy to find a great dog park out there you can take your four-legged friend to. With the help of some great pet apps, you will be able to find some great parks near you. Check out the site here.
