- Your dog’s length from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail should be measured. Depending on the size of your dog, you will need to add approximately 2-4 inches to the length of its tail when measuring its overall length.
- When choosing the correct height for your dog’s crate, measure the distance from the top of the dog’s head to the ground. Measuring from the tip of the dog’s ears is recommended if your dog has naturally erect ears.
